Built by a player, for players
Hey, I'm Tom, an incredibly average person from the South West of England who loves TTRPGs and has a background in product design. I created Snaggletooth Forge to help keep track of all the fun stories I create with my friends...
Why did i create it?
The trouble for me was that whilst I loved the creativity and spontaneity of TTRPGs, I struggled remembering what happened half the time. Villages we'd already been to, how my character was connected to others, items we'd gathered along the way. It all got lost. That's why I wanted to create something to help me keep track of it all.
After chatting to others in the community, I learnt that most people used a mixture of paper, digital notes, source books and memory, so I wasn't alone in thinking there had to be a better way.

Real artists, real characters
I'm also a member of a few amazing TTRPG groups, where I see so many talented artists sharing their work. I'm fortunate enough to have had a couple of pieces created for my own characters, but not everybody can afford to, which is why I wanted to find a way to better support the artist community whilst also making custom artwork more affordable for everyone.
That's why I partnered up with real human artists. I design new characters, their backstories, their visions, then work with the artists to bring them to life and add them to the Snaggletooth library.
A passion project
This is a passion project of mine, something I've created and driven solo, so there will be things that break as I learn along the way. But please join the communities, give me feedback, and I'll do my best to make it work for everyone.
You might be wondering why there's a paid tier. As much as I'd love to do this for free, the reality is it's there to cover the cost of the more expensive features like custom artwork, messaging services, and everything else on that list. But as the community grows, so will the content available to you. So a huge thank you to those who've chosen to support the idea of the Forge and the artists behind it.

Come say hello
If you want to reach out, please do. I'm always around. I'd love to hear about your character ideas or new things you'd like to see in the Forge!
